Caring for your Lashes

  • DO be gentle with your eyes and lashes.
  • DO use water-based or gel cleansers.
  • DO use a q-tip to remove eyeliner around the lash line.
  • DO avoid hot steam from showers and sauna.

  • DON’T get lashes wet for at least 24 hours after initial application to allow the adhesive to completely dry.
Also, wait 24 hours before spray tanning.
  • DON’T rub eyes excessively or sleep on them.
  • DON’T use mechanical eyelash curlers as they are too harsh and can damage both natural and synthetic lashes. A heated eyelash comb may be used sparingly. Prolonged heat may cause them to come loose.
  • DON’T use oil based cleansers, lotion or eye-makeup because these products will dissolve the glue bond between your extensions and your natural lashes.
  • DON’T use waterproof mascara. The ingredients in water-proof mascara will dissolve the bond between the synthetic lash and the natural lash, causing your eyelash extension to fall off, you won‘t need mascara anyways.

A Word About Mascara…

Mascara will not be necessary. However, if you want a mascara look, I recommend that you APPLY MASCARA ON THE TIPS ONLY. DO NOT APPLY NEAR THE BASE OF THE LASH. Application near the base can physically break the bond between the lash and the natural lash and may shorten the life of lashes, especially during the mascara removal process.

Edimar recommends getting a touch-up every 2-3 weeks. Lashes naturally shed every 60-90 days because of their natural growth cycle. As such, a touch-up is needed to replenish the fallen lashes.
